Below you will find the Interstate's roster for steam locomotives. I have included a link to the diagram for these engines. Look for the underlined words or numbers. The diagrams were supplied to me by Allen Stanley. If you are looking for a "Southern steam diagram", he is the one to see.
All the steam engines were black with red window sashes . Most had gold numbers and letters. The Mallets had a red number board on the side of the cab with white numbers and a red number board on the pilot with white numbers. The other engines number plate was on the smoke box. It was round with a gold number and a red background.
